The 12 astrological signs make up the Zodiac, a word which comes from ancient Greek, the prefix “zo” meaning “set of animals.” The Zodiac is, in fact a wheel of animals symbolising the energies the livings go through during a solar year. From Earth, we can see 12-star constellations on the ecliptic. These constellations are represented by the signs of the Zodiac, which are used in Astrology (word meaning “Time Map”). This “science” enables astrologers to set up a horoscope, which is, in fact a map of destiny. Astrology is the “study of stars. It’s neither a religion, nor a belief. It’s a system which is at the same time astronomic, psychological and a forecast. Unlike many other divination techniques seen through the centuries, astrology has kept its popularity.” This collection of twelve signs has been hand-crafted by our artisans in our workshops. Each sign seems to be floating, as if levitating under its glass dome. It comes with its own star constellation, and traditional illustration. Treen, glass and steel wire.
