Small Iconic Stele with Ideograms
Hand-carved in sandstone by our craftsmen, these steles were originally pillars. Rectangular in shape and featuring stylized faces, they were sometimes engraved with the names of their owners. These faces were always depicted from the front, with a straight nose topped by eyebrow arches in high relief, framed by almond-shaped eyes and a small mouth with pursed lips.
Necklace Pendant
Magnificent set of chokers from Indonesia. This model is particularly used during ritual ceremonies. The shells are harvested by islanders and are elegantly presented here on a matte black steel base. Perfect to complement a contemporary interior!
