Wig - S

OD216

New product

First used to imitate natural hair, wigs became a fashion dictated by the Royal Court and was an important symbol of social status in the 17th century. This fashion, started in France by Louis XIIIth, rapidly spread to other European countries and lasted until the French Revolution. At that time, anyone wanting to be taken for a gentleman had to include this accessory with their dressed-up outfits. Wigs, then, were extremely complicated, impressive and powdered to look white.
Thus, our wigs seem to bestow upon you some measure of nobility.

Suggestion for presentation: the wigs are not delivered with a turned wooden base.
